chapter 6 ~The Seal~

Darkious looked up at the sky, watching the stars as they moved about creating constalations.
" The sword, the black rose, the great godess, the serpent...." he murmered their names to himself. "Each one a mark of history...."
he heard someone climb onto the roof but didnt look or say anything.
" You like to stargaze too, huh?" his heart skipped a beat. It was her....
" Yes I do." was all he answered. Neanie sat down next to him.
" What's wrong?" she asked when she noticed how stiff he was.
" Nothing." he said looking away. ~This pounding in my chest....the last time...was when SHE was alive. Why does it happen now?~
" Ya know...somethings been bothering me." she said after a few minutes of silence
" What?"
" That collar you always wear. Is it a seal?"
He put his hand on his spiked collar." What makes you think that?"
" It feels similar to when I broke Lifia and Grenosia's seals..." Her reasoning was sharp.
" Yes it's a seal."
" Should remove it?"
" NO! DON'T!" was she an idiot?!
" Hey, no need to freak out..." she said jumping back. She still doesn't understand...
" Hmph. This seal really shouldn't be removed...." he said looking away again. Why was his face hot? "It keeps my power in check. We Superior Elementals need these collars beacause we cant
control our own powers by ourselves."
" Oh, so its like a storage of some sort?"
" Basicaly. When an Elemental loses control," he shivered at the terrible thought " It's painful and suffocating...I'd rather be thrown into the ocean than have that happen to me..."
she hugged her knees " Wow...that's scary....sorry..."
"It's fine."
" Hey you two!" they both heard a shout and saw Jess peak out from the window." Dinner's ready! We also need to discuss what to do..."
" Uh, right! We'll be right down." Neanie answered and stood up "C'mon Darkious. I think Jess made riceballs tonight!"
his ears perked up at the mention of his favorite food. He forced them back down." Coming..."

He took a bite out of one of the Riceballs. " So, we got three of us and there are only four left with no leads..." he made a scowl " What now?"
Neanie looked thoughtful." Well....mabey there's a pattern? Something that'll help us figure it out?"
Clicky's head snapped up " I got it!"
" What's the dumb animal got to say now?"
" I'll ignore that....anyway I think that the Elemental's seals have something to do with their Element."
" ....Oh I see, so we should search places depending on what Element is strongest there! That makes sense. So who should we look for?" Neanie asked.
" I would guess Tyrin-sama..." Grenosia suggested shyly. " We would just need to look in a volcano or a desert..."
" Hmmm well that would narrow things down. But wich one would he be in?" Jess said thoughtfully.
" Deffinatly a desert. A volcano isn't roomy enough for him." Lifia said
" Yeah, his ego wouldn't fit." Darkious muttered.
Lifia pulled his ponytail." OWWW! leggoleggoleggo!!" he yelled as he pryed her hand off. " What's YOUR problem?"
" You." she replied sweetly.
